SIGNS OF A STRONG RELATIONSHIP:
- Children show cooperation.
- Children share feelings with each other and with caregiver.
- Children show consideration for others feelings and property.
- Children are able to take responsibility for their actions.
- Caregiver has a positive attitude towards the group as well
as the individuals.
- Children's rights and feelings are respected and supported
at all times.
- Children are allowed independence as appropriate.
SIGNS OF PROBLEMS IN RELATIONSHIPS:
- Absence of those behaviors which show a strong relationship.
- Caregiver is often angry, upset, or resentful towards children.
- Struggles and hassles frequently over routine matters.
- Arguments and conflicts occur often between children or with
caregivers.
- Children show fear or stress around caregiver.
- Caregiver must use force or power to have requests met.
- Caregiver often talks to children in sarcastic or lecturing
tones.
